During the 2024 UEC Road European Championships, we aim to provide an inclusive experience for all visitors. We will be working closely with vzw Inter to ensure that the event is accessible for everyone, regardless of any mobility or sensory impairments. All the information about our accessibility provisions can be found below.

Parking and public transport
- Accessible parking places: Special parking spaces have been reserved for visitors with a disability in close proximity to all the main locations.
- Public Transport: Public transport to and from the event is accessible for wheelchair users, with assistance in boarding and alighting where necessary.
Entrance and movement on the site
- Wheelchair-accessible entrances: All entrances to the event are accessible by wheelchair.
- Crossing points: All crossing points are wheelchair-friendly. If there is a height difference of more than 2 cm and there is no other solution or route then these are eliminated with slip-resistant ramps.
- Ground plan: A ground plan will be available a few days before the event that clearly shows the various accessibility facilities.
Facilities
- Accessible toilets: Several wheelchair-accessible toilets are available on the site, clearly marked and strategically placed.
- Inter stages: Inter has provided stages at the start and finish with a view of the start presentation, the finish and the awards podium.
- Sensory support: For visitors with a visual or hearing impairment, provisions such as an induction loop and sign language interpreters will be offered at the awards ceremony.
Assistance and support
- Volunteers from vzw Inter: Specially trained volunteers from vzw Inter will be present to offer support and information. You can spot them by their vests, and they are ready to provide assistance where needed.
